About me
My name is Aleksander Korzyński and I’m the author of the upcoming book The IT Whisperer and an expert in the world of Open Source. I have over 10 years of experience in the industry, gained at organisations large and small, such as HPE (Hewlett-Packard Enterprise) or the University of Cambridge, where I was a software engineering contractor. I’ve been involved in free software since 2003, including projects such as: the LAME MP3 Encoder, the Minix operating system and OpenStack. At HPE I led a team of engineers building a downstream CI/CD system for OpenStack, a project that required creating unique processes for collaborating with the large-scale Open Source community involving hundreds of organisations and tens of thousands of engineers. I hold a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Warsaw University of Technology, the number one technical university in his native Poland. I also hold a post-graduate diploma in entrepreneurship from the leading Lazarski University in Poland. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
